African Trade Sea Glass Earrings

African Trade Sea Glass Earrings by Out Of The Blue Seaglass Jewelry

I love working with old African trade beads, they look so beautiful with sea glass. Like sea glass they are time worn. These beads were made for the African trade in Venice, Italy and were traded in Africa during the late 1800's. Originally they had a shiny glassy luster, now they have a nice satin finish from years of handling and being lost in the earth. They have blue, green, red and white stripes. The amber sea glass was collected in Puerto Rico. All silver wire work is done here in my studio including the ear-wires.
