Beach Glass & Beads Hoops
Ethereal sapphire or cornflower blue sea glass paired with Swarovski crystal beads on handmade silver hoops. The Swarovski crystal beads have an aurora borealis finish and sparkle like the sun and sea and contrast nicely with the sea glass. The hoops measure ¾" across. I shape them on a mandrel with sterling silver wire. The sea glass is from Puerto Rico where it is an uncommon color. Cornflower blue sea glass is considered to be scarcer than cobalt blue in most sea glass collecting locations. However, in Puerto Rico I have collected more of this color!
