This Victorian era North Sea Glass brings to mind curtains of rain on the sea's horizon. The blue striations of this glass is typical to end-of-day glass which is scrap molten glass that was mixed together at the end of the work day in glass factories. This piece comes from a glass factory in England that discarded scrap glass into the North Sea in the mid 1800's. I finished each side with a sea spiral. All Sterling silver.
