Los Azufrales Sea Glass Pendant
This Costa Rican sea glass has a beautiful luminosity. It reminds me of a sulphurous hot spring called los Azufrales on the slopes of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano in northwestern Costa Rica. This is the only piece of this color that I have found in Costa Rica. I suspect it is rare but have not collected enough sea glass there to know for sure yet. It is priced as a common color.
In person this sea glass looks slightly greener than in the image. When placed on a color wheel it matches a shade of yellow. How this makes sense I don't know! It is not vaseline glass. This pendant is reversible so it can be worn on either side. Small piece of sea glass.
