Eclipse Sea Glass Pendant
This piece of thick frosty sea glass was worn smooth by the North Sea off of the coast of England. It comes from end-of-day glass which is also known as slag glass. At the end of the day in an English Victorian era glass factory workers would make themselves items with scraps of molten glass that they would mix together. Any molten glass left over from that was dumped into the North Sea!
I designed this piece so it can be worn on either side, and finished each side with a sea spiral. The streak of black color is a little blacker in person. My camera really picked up on the frost. This sea glass dates to the mid 1800's making it a true antique.
