Olive Ridley Sea Glass Pendant
This is a large piece of sea glass in a rich olive, seaweed green. This is an uncommon sea glass color in Puerto Rico where it was collected. This pendant is named in honor of the Olive Ridley sea turtle. Olive Ridleys are the smallest of the sea turtles and they are gorgeous!
I used very thick wire for this piece which makes for a solid setting with a wonderful tactile quality. The silver contrasts beautifully with the sea glass, it brings some brightness to the deep color. This pendant is finished with a small sea spiral detail on the top which is not that visible in this picture.
