Sea Spiral Sea Glass Pendant - Reversible
In this pendant one side of the spiral is hammered to represent a shimmering body of water, my inspiration being the Albemarle Sound of the Outer Banks. I hand sanded the other side to create a satiny matte finish that was inspired by sea fog rolling onto the Atlantic seaboard. Wire is coiled under the sea glass to prevent it from sliding and gives the piece texture and depth.
Luz De La Luna Pendant
I make these when lucky enough to have a rock like piece of sea glass! Across cultures ancient people associated silver with the moon and in this style the spiral represents the moon. I also do a variation of the Sea Pebbles Pendant in this style.
Polaris Sea Glass Pendant - Reversible
A reversible pendant style. The spirals represent Polaris the North Star which was first used by the ancient Phoenicians for navigation at sea. They were also amongst the first to develop glass and to use silver in jewelry!
