The sea glass in these earrings was collected in Puerto Rico where it is an uncommon sea glass color. In Puerto Rico the source for thick pieces of aquamarine sea glass is old glass insulators. Very thin pieces of aquamarine sea glass probably come from old bottles.
Findings are the components that hold jewelry together such as ear wires, chains, clasps, and links. I make most of them myself from wire using techniques that have changed little since ancient times.
These classical and elegant earrings are guaranteed to bring out your inner mermaid every time you wear them. The aquamarine sea glass is adorned with Swarovski crystal beads and cultured freshwater pearls. I added pearls to the ear wires, which I make by hand, which really gives them some sea siren elegance.
