Riesling Blue Sea Glass
I don't know what else to call this blue. It looks more like the color of a riesling wine bottle than anything else. I didn't even know I had any sea glass in this color until a few years ago when I found a piece amongst my cornflower blue sea glass. Every now and then I find another. I have a flat piece with a Victorian era window pattern embossed on it in this blue. In Victorian times Puerto Rican homes often had several small colorful window panes embossed with patterns, and I do have a few pieces that look like they came from riesling bottles. It is one of the rarest colors of sea glass I have collected.
