Welcome to this Treasure Chest of sea glass jewelry and information. My name is Lisl and I have made sea glass jewelry for a living for over twenty years. I started out on the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico where I first found sea glass, and have continued to wander the worlds beaches ever since in search of these sea changed jewels. Sea glass appeals to that in me that loves the ancient, rustic and natural. I make jewelry for all of you salty souls and free spirits that love time worn things and long for the craftsmanship of bygone eras. Oh, and my sea glass jewelry is guaranteed to bring out your inner Mermaid!
Sea Glass From Around The World
The sea glass treasures seen on this website come from all over the world. My husband and I collected the sea glass from Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Bali, Italy, and Hawaii. The sea glass from the Outer Banks was collected either by us or by a friend. The English sea glass and the sea glass from the Pacific Northwest was provided by hardcore beachcombers.

Striving to make jewelry that is in keeping with the organic qualities of beach found sea glass I make the ear-wires, links, chains and many of the clasps with my hands out of precious metal wire. Using simple hand tools and ancient techniques I take my time and enjoy creating every piece. Properly cared for this hand-hewn sea glass jewelry will last a lifetime. What Is Sea Glass Or Beach Glass?
Sea glass is sharp broken glass that was worn smooth by the sea. Sharp edges soften as the glass tumbles over rocks. It is further smoothed and frosted as the tides drag it along the sandy ocean floor. Poetically referred to as "Mermaids Tears" these ocean frosted gems wash up on beaches all over the world.
Sea glass goes by a few different names such as beach glass, drift glass, ocean tumbled glass, mermaids tears and even sea beach glass! In writing you will also see seaglass, or beachglass.
